Cat Picture Gallery
Justine doesn't think that I post enough about my cats. I think that I have too many of them right now. I made a blog where I can post news about cats, either my own news or news from around the world.

Gracie in the Sink

Cats seem to like sinks, in fact there is a website with nothing but cats in sinks. Gracie is nuts for water and loves to drink directly from the tap.

Cat Gallery on Photoshop Express

I've uploaded a few pictures to Photoshop Express, which is Adobe's new competition to Flikr.

Here is my first Cat Gallery using Photoshop Express. If you can't get it, let me know.

It is flash based and slow, but the display is nice. I have a bunch more to upload, but there is a two gig limit. I don't know how close I am to the limit, though.

In other cat news, I have finally tracked down some software to recover all the blog images that I kept on the Panasonic Tough Book. The drive isn't dead, just badly scrambled. I have found the pictures scattered about and the copying of files is slow. It will be a couple of more days, but I will see about getting the cat pictures somewhere on the web.

Future of the Cat Blog

After Archie died, I didn't feel much like blogging here. I recently made the decision to let the domain expire so that I would not have to pay for it each year.

I received a couple of nasty emails ordering me to keep on blogging.

I can:

1) Let BlogsEyeView.com expire and move the blog to a subdirectory on another domain, where I can continue it if I feel like it. Gooch's site comes to mind.
2) Just let the blog die without moving it.
3) Do nothing and pay the fees to keep the site running in case I want to start blogging again.

Please leave a comment.

Voting expires April 10, 2008

5 or fewer comments means practically no one cares so the blog will die.

Fewer than 10 comments means that not many people care and I'll do whatever I want (probably move the blog).

More than 10 comments and I'll go by the consensus.

Here are a couple of cat pictures. The first is a picture Peter S. Beagle's cat that he sent me.
The second is not a picture of Gracie, but a cute cat picture that Erica send me.

Pet Insurance for Dogs and Cats from Pets Best

Pet's Best is the website of one of this blog's regular readers and Becky wrote me, telling about it. I've been thinking about buying pet insurance. With 6 cats, my vet bill is well into the 4 figures range. This seems like a good site to start comparing various plans and features.

Gracie and Ollie

I replaced the innards on the toilet because it was leaking. When I did the plumbing, I put a little secret panel in the floor so I could turn off the water to the bathroom when I work on it. I had it open while I was fixing the toilet.
About an hour after I finished, I heard a faint meow. I looked in all the rooms and opened the closets. I looked in the attic and in the cellar, but I couldn't find where it was coming from.
I was standing in the hall directly under the bathroom when I hear the meow, loud and clear coming from directly above me. That's when I figured out what happened. Gracie was stuck in the floor. She wasn't very upset. I took these pictures a few minutes after I rescued her and she went right back in and I had to coax her out again.

While I am blogging, here is a picture of Ollie "helping" Erica work on her rag rug.

Pet Photos Photography Contest

My friend Dave Blake has a new web site. He has created a system where sponsors can run photography contests. Dave is a very good shutterbug. The site has real contests with real cash prizes. I entered a couple of pictures there and I must say they are the best so far. Go there and vote for Gracie and Ollie.

Bad TV Night

I wandered around looking for cats to take pictures of. First, Ollie was very photogenic.

Then Willie was basking in an insulin glow. I had just given him his shot. He gets 5 units twice a day.

I took a picture of Blue and all I got was his eyes because the flash didn't work.

Here is Furry eating on the new kitchen floor. Erica hasn't sealed this part of the floor and cats are making a mess.

Buddy's Space...the grooviest spot around

This blog has some cute pics - and they read this blog, so I thought that I'd give them a link.

Cat Gallery - 370 pictures

I took all of the pictures that were in the old gallery software and I put them in an HTML gallery for your viewing pleasure. I did no resizing and most you will have seen before.

The old software was hacked, so I deleted it.
