Stray Tortoise Shell Visits
For the last month, a stray black and tortoise shell has been steeling food from the deck. She came this morning and I was able to snap a picture. She is very shy and sits way back in the yard on an old dead tree and waits for a meal opportunity. I need to get a full sidelong shot so you can see the beautiful colors on her flanks.
Max sat quietly on the deck and observed her. She did not seem at all afraid of him.
The combination of colors, black, yellow and white, is a sex linked trate. All Calicos and Tortoise shell cats (with some white) are females. The question is: Is the tortoise shell pregnant? If she is feral, how will be capture the kittens?

You had better hope she isn't pregnant - if she is the person to cat ratio in the house will reach problematic levels. You and EAC will end up outside with the cats inside. e
I just got a tortie last month, her sister is a calico. She's going in on Monday for the 'operation'.
