Justine doesn't think that I post enough about my cats.
I think that I have too many of them right now. I made a blog
where I can post news about cats, either my own news or news
from around the world.

Larry's cat Zack is named because he has copper red hair like my Cousin Zack, (Martha's Boy). Zack's band, The Prix, is doing well in LA. (Zack, the cousin's band, not Zack the cat. Zack the cat is a not a real musician, just a meow now and then.)

One Ugly Cat
Mr. Stinky comes to steal kibble. An opossum is a nice neighbor, if ugly. They clean up the yard and don't make a mess. There is no cat box and they don't climb up you leg when they're hungry.

Wet Cats
This is Herman. I'm surprised that he came out in the rain.
The stray black cat just showed up. I'll take a picture.

WCBS NEWSRADIO 880: "Molly the cat is finally free. After two weeks stuck behind a brick wall in a 19th century Greenwich Village building, workers rescued the bashful 11-month-old feline from her plight late Friday"

Justine demanded that I blog this - Neighbors Rally To Save Trapped Cat - CBS News: "Rescuers used drills, miniature cameras, cat food and even a raw fish in a desperate effort to entice an 11-month old cat named Molly from behind the basement wall of a Greenwich Village delicatessen where she has been trapped for 12 days."
When I was renovating my house, one of the cats found a way to get from the celler, where I had installed a cat door, up through the walls to the back of a closet. It would come in through an unfinished place at the back of the closet. I would hear meowing and when I opened the door, he would pop out, very pleased with himself.
It took me days to seal up all the openings in the cellar to keep the cat out of the walls.
When we put the second story onto the house, there was a hole in the ceiling that went into the old rafters and up into a space between the new second story and the old attic floor. Of course, a cat got in there, and he would not come out until he was hungry.
I recently re-did the stairs leading down to the front entrance way and a whole new generation of cats were dissapearing into the construction area only to appear in the cellar or wind up in the same closet. I think I have it under control again, but the cats will find a way if I missed something. They stick their noses in everywhere.

Lewis, the cat from hell, follow-up: "Fairfield's so-called 'Terrorist of Sunset Circle' has some new friends in his kitty corner. Lewis, the 5-year-old black-and-white longhaired cat who made international headlines this week, now has a profile on MySpace.com"

Pet proves it's a cat's life after all: "The slogan on the T-shirt read 'What part of meow don't you understand?' In the past that would have earned a chuckle or perhaps the slimmest hint of a smile on my face. Now, it gets a nod of deep understanding. It's still not funny, but only because it is so true."

Outsmarting the cat that wakes you up: "Gloria Stepps treasures her sleep. When her beloved 6-month-old kitten, Bongo, began interrupting her blissful slumber, she wondered what he wanted. At first, she thought he was just hungry so she gave him breakfast early. When her sleep disruption continued, she tried soothing him with verbal cooing.
Another night, when he destroyed some valuable items with his midnight kitten-crazies, she tried to calm him back to sleep with cuddling.
Mistake. Mistake. Mistake.
Bongo quickly figured out the secret to getting anything you want in life is to ask for it at 3 o'clock in the morning."
